In today’s episode we are going to go over my 4 step framework for how to start signing clients right away. I’ll dive into all the details behind what to do, how to do it, and when to do it so that your fans turn into clients. 

 My 4 Step Framework to Start Signing Clients

Hello and welcome back to the fierce business babe podcast. I'm so excited to be here with you today drum roll, please we are talking about my four-step framework and how to start signing clients. If you are signing clients, you have to be selling more so you can start hitting those $5K and $10K months that you were just dreaming of. We can start making this happen this month for you. Yes, it's possible. I'm so excited to dive into it and really give you that stuff that you're just needing, so grab your favorite notebook and your favorite pen. 

I wanted to dive into this because I know how you might be feeling right now. I was in your shoes just a few years ago. I know exactly how you're feeling. There are so many things out there. There's so much information overload, it is so insane. I started my business back in 2014, and I thought the information overload back then was crazy. But there's so much we just don't know. What to actually do or what action to take first, so I want to go to this first time framework with you so you have a better idea of all of those things. 

The first thing the first of this framework is something you probably heard from you before: 

We really have got to niche down. If you are just starting a business. Maybe you've no idea. What business do you want to start? That's okay. We're going to this is your time to brainstorm, but we really need to niche down. What I want you to start to ask yourself is what problem can I solve for people? What is the problem out there? I can solve back in 2014 when I first heard of my first business. I was full-time as a chemical engineer and I was really into fitness for a time. I was doing bikini competitions and people approached me and asked me if I could help them with XYZ? Can you help me lose weight? Can you help me drop? You know my muffin top lose 5 pounds, whatever their goal was and ding ding ding bell went off in my head while this is something that I can help people with. This is a problem that is out there in the world. So start to ask yourself: What problem can you solve? And it doesnt need to be the problem you're solving forever but something to get you started because you really only need to be a few steps ahead to teach someone else how to do something. So maybe you love graphic design and you want to be able to help other people create their logos, their color schemes or mood boards. Maybe you want to do more Brandy. Maybe you just love social media and want to help other people create content for social media and lay it out and create that aesthetic for them there. So many different things you can do in the online space which I love, the possibilities are endless.

You've got to have a signature offer. 

You need to have something if you're just starting your business and you've got ten different offers right now and you're wondering why you're not signing clients take a step back with simplify, right? Let's simplify. Let’s not have nearly as many offers because if you've got that many offers are probably confusing your audience. They probably have no idea what to even purchase and then they just don't purchase anything and we don't want that. It's a really focused on one signature offer first and then once you've mastered that, it starts to expand on other things, you probably heard me talk about this when I talked about and spoke to what platforms to be on. Master one platform then expand and move on to the next, really master. When it comes to your signature offer you really want to be so crystal clear and the way that I start to create my offers is think about your positioning. What I mean by this is positioning is where is your ideal client at this moment for this offer you're wanting to create? Where are they in this very moment and then where they are going to be after they work with you, after they go through your course or your program. Whatever it is you're wanting to create, where will they be after and how will they feel? 

So I'm going to give you an example for my Academy is a 3-month group program where it's for online coaches just starting. Maybe they don't have a business idea yet, we can help you with that. Maybe you have a business idea, but you're just struggling with selling. Increase their prices. That is the point A to point B. We help you create your offer and really help you master selling and lead generation. So they are out there and you have the tools to reach your first 5k month and then continue to rinse and repeat. So that's point B, you want to really have that mastered so that you are clear about how the rest of the programs are going to go when you're creating. Think about how you want to structure it? How do you want to deliver it? Do you want to have video course inside video trainings inside? Is it going to be everything taught through a coaching call? Are you going to utilize some kind of community portal like a Facebook group or a slack Channel if it’s a group program. So in order to start to think about those other items, you've really got to have your point A to point B fully developed. You need to know what those spots are because your program is going to be everything in between. It’s going to be those teaching points that you need to teach them to get from point A to point B. 

Now the third piece of this is your content and attracting clients. 

At the end of the day you want to have some type of marketing strategy right? Where are you marketing to, are you just randomly talking about your program once a month on Instagram stories and nowhere else? If that's the case, we need to put together some kind of marketing strategy for you to write how often you're posting, how often you're reaching out to potential clients. What does a strategy actually look like? Do you have a plan in place for how you're getting people on the phone for sales calls? Do you have anything for that? And are you even attracting your clients or potential clients? So in order to do this, we want to be speaking their language and a great way to start speaking their language is market research. If you were sending out some market research surveys are asking potential clients some market research questions, then you're going to really get a great sense of some of the verbiage they are using today and you want to be able to speak that language. When you're speaking their language, they're connecting with you and really resonating with those words. There is an abundance of clients out there for you. Every single day that are continuing to grow. So if you're stuck on lead generation here are some quick ideas for lead generation. There's so many people in your current audience that would love to work with you, but maybe they don't know about your offer. Have you reached out to them? How do you build a relationship with them? People need to like, know and trust you before they're going to go from a lead to a paying client. So creating that relationship with them, building that with them in order for them to have those touchpoints with you so they can go from lead to a paying client, right? It takes anywhere from 7 to 10 touchpoints. Sometimes even 7 to 12 touch points to go from lead to a paying client. So in your current audience, you're probably already in Instagram to people on your Instagram reaching out to other people outside who are other people in your industry, check out their audiences. There's going to be people that you collaborate with where people are going to be more attracted to you and your personality in your vibe, which is totally okay. I highly suggest collaborating often. It's so huge and is going to help your growth tremendously nervousness. Other than generation ideas really utilizing your audience generating new leads by reaching out to other potential clients that aren't in your audience and just starting a conversation whether that's responding to someone's Instagram stories, weather is just commenting on their staff, get to know them, create that like, know trust factor in Facebook groups, sharing your freebies or going to really attract your leads as well lead generation is a never-ending thing. You will be working on generating leads forever and every business does and it's going to continue to just build in your lead sources. 

The fourth part of this framework is your sales system. 

Do you have a sales system? Let me ask you do you have a way right now for a potential client to even apply to work with you? Do you have a way for a potential client to reach out to literally give you money to work with you? Do you have a sale structure? Are you asking for the sale? So these are questions. I want you to really ask yourself. How often are you actually asking for the sale today? I would love to hear that from you. And if you are only asking for the sale once a month, once every two weeks, we get to do it more. Selling is something that we are going to be doing in our business every single day. This doesn't mean you need to be on Instagram stories every single day and say hey, coach can work with me. But you do get to be selling and other forms every day every single day asking for the sale, but in other forms and so think about is there a sales page for them to go to can we apply to work with me? And then once you do have that put together, how do you feel about sales calls? Do they absolutely frightened you do you avoid handling objections? We need to learn different methods that feel good about this stuff because it can feel good and it can feel fun. I'm evidence for you for that because I absolutely love selling. I hated selling when I first started. I remember the first time ever going to my sales calls absolutely terrified out of my mind, had my script, I printed out in front of me. So terrified, but it got easier the more I did it the more I practiced and now I’ve been able to shift my mindset why I love selling because I know that if I'm selling I am giving someone the opportunity to grow to create freedom in their lives.
