How to Make an Extra $1,000 This Week

Welcome back to another episode of The Fierce Business Babe Podcast! This week we have another double feature. We are here for another brand new Thursday episode. These Thursday episodes are a new shorter style episode that I am calling the Fierce Business Q&A or a micro episode for you. So if this is how it's going to work, every single week my team is going in and pulling a question that a client asked in one of our programs. I'm going to be going into full detail on how we answered the question and how we also supported our client. So yes, we're going into full-on coaching for you right now. Let’s not waste any time and get right on in. This week’s question was, how to make an extra $1,000 this week? 


This week’s question was pulled from my program the Six-Figure Fierce Business Mastermind. This is my 6-month Mastermind where we help you scale to consistent $10K months in your business while working less. We really focus heavily on both the front end and the back end of your business so that we can turn it into a well-oiled machine and you can continue to grow without the hustle, without the burnout. Let’s remove those words from your vocabulary. We spend a lot of time shifting your business from one-to-one to one-to-many through courses and group programs. We also get into hiring your few team members, what that looks like, continuing to scale, really improving and amplifying your sales process, and so much more. We support our clients in this container with monthly group coaching calls where we dive deep into content, share screens, show behind the scenes of our business and their businesses, and put together action steps for you to move forward. We also have a Slack channel to ask questions every single day and receive feedback on all things in your business. We offer private coaching calls and also access to other programs and courses, so my clients get everything and more, including an entire course for the Mastermind itself. This question actually came up on a group call, so I supported live in the moment on that call and, of course, it was recorded so our clients are able to go back to it and refer back to it. 


So the question was, how to make an extra $1,000 this week? Let's go ahead and answer that question. This question actually came up because it was part of a challenge we were doing for the month. Something that I like to challenge my clients to do is ask themselves, how can we go even bigger? Some of us will plan for a $5K month or a $20K month or a $50K month, whatever it may be and we’re always trying to hit that goal, but what if we went bigger? What if we stretched a little bit more? How can you add an additional 20% or 10% of MRR, or monthly recurring revenue, on top this month? We did that a lot with the Six-Figure Mastermind this week and I wanted to chat with you about that today so that I can also support you with how to add more and stretch a little bit more with some of your goals. I want to help you reach that next level for you and your business.


The way that you can make an extra however much, an extra thousand dollars this week, or an extra $2,000 or 5,000, is, of course, signing more clients or filling more spots in your programs, but let’s say that you have one or two core offers. Maybe you're completely full at the moment in those offers or maybe you're about to launch something a few months from now and it's not quite ready. You can always create something new in the moment if you want or try to repurpose something that you already had created. I like to pull out some secret menu items from time to time. A secret menu item is basically something that you can offer, but you don't always offer it publicly. So for example, maybe a month of Voxer support with you. It may be a  three-month private coaching package instead of a six-month one. For example, my private packages are always six months, so maybe I want to pull out a three-month if I wanted to stretch a little bit more. You could sell some intensives or some one-on-one coaching calls. You can have a flash sale for one of your courses that you have already created, maybe you pull it out of your vault. We do this from time to time, usually a few times per year. If you have any other digital downloads or anything else that you already have. If you've done any free training in the past or free workshops or a free training series you can bundle all of this up into a mini-course or a bundle. We've done this in the past with some of our free trainings or just trainings that we pulled from other programs that we've created that maybe we don't run anymore. We have bundled these into mini courses or other bundles in our business that we have in our vault that we’ll take out and sell from time to time. 


If you are going to be selling something soon, maybe it's not quite ready for launch, you can always pre-sell a few spots. Maybe you can sell a few spots for next quarter’s private coaching or your program that you're going to be launching in another month or two. We’ve pre-sold spots to some of our programs and masterminds two to three months ahead, so you can definitely do the same. Think about what you can offer. What can you sell? What is something that would really entice your audience and that you would also like to support clients with? Go ahead and offer it to people. If someone wasn't quite ready for one-on-one, no worries. Pull out a secret menu item. Give them something else you feel is going to help them get from point A to point B that they would really really love. This also gives them a great taste of what it's like to work with you. You can always upsell them into something else. We’ve done quite a few intensives over the past few years. I haven't done one in quite some time, however anytime I would do an intensive I would always upsell into one of our group programs or into private coaching. 


So there are lots of different things you can do. Pull out some secret menu items, have fun selling, and let's get some extra cash flow into your business this week.
