Today, we are talking about how to attract your ideal client, I hear a lot that people feel like no one is listening on social media so today I am going to go over my tips and tricks to get your ideal clients listening to you and start running your way.
I remember back in the day when I had no idea how to speak to my audience or what to even say to them.
First, let me ask you a question: Are you are posting just to post? Do you have a system to what you’re posting, the types of posts, a system, a calendar together? If your answer is no, I highly suggest getting this together because you want to make sure you have a system in place.
Have your content calendar and add a value at least two times a week.
Tip #1 Market Research.
For those of you who are not utilizing their audience please utilize your audience to see what it is they actually want to learn about. You never know, you have to ask what your ideal client is needing from you and we do that with market research. Social media is literally handing us tools to do this. As you start to connect with them and connect with their struggles, they will start to be attracted to you. Utilize those polls and questions on your instagram stories. Most of the time you are the future version of you ideal client, they are back two or three years ago where you were. If you don’t know we need to start asking them questions to get to know them and use that verbiage that they use.
Are you utilizing market research?
Tip #2 Is it important to your ideal client?.
You don’t always have to post just to post, you want to start to attract your audience and you want them to start to like, know and trust you. You want to be in that spot where they are telling their girlfriend’s about you. In order for them to do that, you have to be connecting with them.
Yes giving tips, giving value is huge and important but you do need to connect with them as well with your struggles, your story. That is how you are going to start to attract your ideal clients. So, when you are putting your content together, really ask yourself, does your ideal client care, is this helping them or connecting to them somehow? What you can do is include a lot of lifestyle posts that you can relate to your business.
Is your content connecting with them?
Selling is all about human connection, attracting those people it’s all about really relating to them.
Are you being potent? Are you talking about things that you actually want to be talking about?
I am a recovering people pleaser and I used to post things that I thought people wanted to hear. I never truly shared what I truly felt about, because it’s showing your audience that you stand for things that you believe and don’t believe in.
What do you stand for?
People want to work with people who challenge their audience. If you are challenging your audience and are talking about things that they normally wouldn’t talk about, they are going to notice that. In the beginning just get out there and start talking to people, have a reason for them to stick around and follow you.
How much are you adding value?
At the end of the day we need to be connecting and relating to our audience.
